Submission to the review of the Water Act 2007 (Cth)

The Wentworth Group welcomes the opportunity to provide a submission to the review of the Water Act 2007 (Cth). The Water Act is a nationally significant piece of legislation that more fully implements Australia’s obligations under international environmental treaties and has established important new institutions, including the Commonwealth environmental Water Holder (CEWH) and the national water accounting and reporting provisions administered by the Bureau of Meteorology.
