State of the Basin Report Murky Waters Running Clearer?

This paper was published in the Marine and Freshwater Journal and was authored by 12 experts in water reform, 5 of whom are Wentworth Group members. It is an independent review of the State of the Murray-Darling Basin, assessing the Basin’s health across five thematic areas: environmental, social, First Nations, economic and compliance. After 30 years of management and billions of dollars worth of public funding, this report comes at an important time in the lead up to the review of the Basin plan.
